Rubber button under bonnet 306

Rubber button under bonnet 306

Hey guys, I found a small rubber button under the bonnet of my XSi, its not far from the battery. Any idea what its for? I pressed it, and not a lot happens.
Its not in the manual either :-?

Hi
Fuel supply safety cutoff switch, It stops the fuel pump running if you have an accident.
