bx sinking rear end

Well Jon reckons that sinkage is caused by leakage in the Height Corrector and I am convinced that the doseur is the culprit but worn strut hydraulics might also be the cause of the problem.
Enough people have fitted new doseurs and find out that they are worse than original that you really need to check this.
Refer to BX-DIY in the useful links and find out which pipe is the return to the reservoir. Pull it off and stuff a 5cc syringe on the end, with the plunger removed.
Switch on and idle the engine. If there is less than 3.5 cc delivered in a minute, it passes.
If not, it doesn't.

Can I just say that the back will always sink faster than the front on a BX. Even when the BX was new the front would stay up and the back would sink after a few hours. If it sinks immediately, then yes, you have problems.
Then remember that Citroen re-engineered the Xantia to include a rear anti sink sphere etc because they were aware of this "problem".
