Hi
Need some help, does anyone know how to de-activate the immobilizer on an N-reg 95/96 Laguna. My battery went dead so I bought a new one for my key. Unfortunately now the immobilizer won't turn off. I have phoned Renault and there saying that I need to get the car towed into them and they'll put on a diagnostic machine at a cost of £70 plus vat and then possibly re-programme the key. I hate wasting money so is there a way round this. Also the key doesn't open the doors now.
