The grabbing hands......

grab all they can.....
Ok enough of the 80's Depeche Mode lyrics.
The bottom of the tailgate on my mighty BX has been worn away by said grabbing hands when closing the tailgate, and is now almost white. I'm going to tidy it up this weekend together with a new number plate.
My question is, does anyone know if the black lower tailgate section on the "upmarket" models is in fact Satin Black or Matt black.

Must be Satin, but then you have too many nights in.

I'd guess satin as matt would tend to attract too much dirt and I have seen this part polished to a low sheen.
A matt finish couldn't get any type of shine no matter what.

im noticing this forum is changing, maybe its the cold weather, but we're all posting answers around the questions and employing lyrical witt in every post. And i LOVE IT!
