Hello, just changed both my headlamps as the refelctors had almost dissapered in the old ones. Amzing improvement and I can actually see the beams on the road now.
One thing I did notice though was that there are two wires on each headlamp that dont go to anything. They are green/yello and yellow(I think), and have spade connectors on them. They are tapped to the main beam headlamp wires. Any ideas what they are for and can I wire them into another bulb some how to get even better lights!!?
The car is a 1993 405 GL, manually adjustable lights. Ithink they may be for the newer lights which had another bulb in, rather than my two. Yes?
Cheers,
David.

Hi
Green / Yellow is going to be an earth wire.
I think the other wire is gonna be a thick white one with a black spade connection on.
If yes then this is for the twin vision headlamps fitted to the sporty & higher spec 405s.
Your GL will have the single vision headlamps with only 1 x dipped / main beam H4 bulb in.
The twin vision has a seperate H1 main beam bulb as well as the H4.
