Reading the posts here it seems to be a good idea to lube the struts on Xantias. The fromt ones seem to be straight forward to do but the rears appear to be sealed up, is it only the fronts that need doing and if not how do I do the rears.
Also, I intend to replace the LHM and rear spheres at the weekend. I've had a go at loosening them with a strap wrench but no joy so it seems I will have to fabricate a 'special tool'. I have bought three spheres, two corners and a middle but not an anti sink. I'm pretty sure which is which but a word of confirmation would put my mind at ease.
Finally, is it ok to dispose of the old LHM in the big oil can at the council tip[?]
Guess what - a suspension question!

You've discovered that the rear spheres are much harder to move than the front. I broke several strap wrenches etc on mine, but with the correct sphere tool, it was easy. Either get one or make one using the methods described in past topics.
When you say you've got three spheres - are you talking front or rear? If it's the rear, the middle sphere is the antisink. If it's front, then it's accumulator - but they are not interchangeable. And yes! I put old LHM in the tank at the 'dump'
