Clutch pedal height

Is there a way to adjust the height of the clutch pedal on my 1997 2.1 xantia. The clutch works fine but the pedal seems way too high in relation to the other two pedals and the foot rest next to the clutch pedal.

What you are describing is normal. I have a 2.1 and my clutch pedal has been like that from day one.

My 1.9td clutch pedal has always been higher than the other 2.About 2-3" higher.
