1993 Xantia SX TD, 210K miles.
My Xantia has no click from the pressure regulator [V], how long it is like this I am not so sure. I was following the "BX Hissing" thread to see if there was anything there to help but there is still no click. I am begining to assume that the system is never being pressurised enough for the PR to cut in/out ( weak pump ?). All spheres have only 20K on them. On startup in the mornings the stop light goes out ( about 5 seconds) and I can pull off within about 15 seconds. I have done the stop car and sit on boot test but the car does not come up again after its initial drop. There is a slight leak from the pump but it is almost negligible. The pump in question has 100K on it as the original was replaced at 110K. I have also done the citroebics and there appears to be 1 click when the car reaches it highest but no click at he normal ride height. Can anyone help ?

It does not need to be a problem, that you cannot actually hear the click from the regulator.
As long as the STOP light disappears within 5 seconds after a long nights rest in the hydraulics system, I would NOT start getting neurotic [8D]
It could in fact simply mean your Xantia hydraulics is in good nick - ever thought about that ?
Some hydraulic Citroens behaves very nicely in the hydraulics, only returning the wellknown recharge click from the regulator each 2-2.5 minutes.
That's a loooong time to wait [:)]
Instead of a distinct click sound, you may simply see the engine idle speed drop for a few seconds at mentioned interval above.
The rear suspension height problem is more than likely a simple mechanical problem with the plastic link from the anti-rollbar to the HC. Link may be snapped, even missing or HC seized in general.
