`Block Treatment' on XMV6

Can anyone advise the likely reason for and effect of applying the Block treatment which has been applied to my engine 2 months after it had a complete head plane and gasket replacement. By Block treatment I presume the garage meant something like Holts Wonder Block but I only have the receipt so can't tell. Would this be affected by flushing with something like Holts 3 stage coolant sytem flush. The job was done 2 years ago and the car has only done about 3 thou miles since 1 thou of which I have done.

Sounds like theres a problem somewhere, I doubt that its normal practice to use block repairing goo unless theyre trying to seal a leak somewhere, did the same garage do the work?

yes it was the same garage
