<font color="blue"></font id="blue">I bought a Xantia 1.9TD late'95 w/aircond.
I have a problem with idle revs: On cold start (engine starts immediately) the revs are about 1400rpm, but during heating sometimes are changing to 1100, 1200,1300.
After reaching 75-80 deg. (Celsius) the revs fall to about 1100, but from time to time to 500! When I force the engine, idle speed stabilizes again on 1000-1100, but after few seconds may fall suddenly again to 500.
So I have 2 questions:
1. what could be reason for this falling to 500?
2. How can I fix the idle speed (1000-1100) to recommended 800?
please HEEELP!
P.S. I think I have not an ECU, but not sure since I don't know how the ECU looks like
