205 GTi Fuel Probs

205 GTi Fuel Probs

Having problems getting a 205 GTi to run. Fuel pumps is dead but works happily with a wire run directly from the battery. I've changed the tachymetric relay and the ignition switch but still nothing. Am I missing something obvious?
