1998 clio - central locking blip

1998 clio - central locking blip

I've had a leak that has shorted the central locking receiver/blip in the ceiling. If I manage to fix the receiver or buy a new one does anyone know if I have to reprogram it to recognise my key fobs or is it a simple plug & play?
