After letting the local cit dealer attempt to diagnose high fuel consumption of my 2.0i 8v (1995) xantia, I was told that I'd do well to clean out the throttle housing.
My question, having not done that before, is exactly what do I disconnect / dismantle, and what precisely do I clean? Will this have any bearing on efficiency, and slightly rough idle? I don't really know what's inside the housing.
