Hi all, can anyone help with this one,i always lock up with the key (plip not working)and sometimes get a problem were the locks just unlock again but up to now only once every 2 months or so. It's now more regular and to make matters worse inow have to hold the key over to lock the drivers door the manualy push the other locks down, but they unlock them selves some time latter and i return to a ulocked car. HELP.......

Mines been doing this past few weeks and the short term fix has been to pull fuse 21 from the drivers footwell fuse box and this disables the central locking.
Usual cause is said to be worn lock motors, but finding out which one is a nightmare and the units are about £50 each, plus may need a loom at £20 on certain early cars. I took both door front door panels off today and disconected and reconnected the motors multiplugs and it seems to be working for now, but I'm not holding my breath it'll last, I am awaiting some replacement motors which I'll fit if it goes again. The position of the motors makes them very fiddly to replace as well
