Hello,
I have updated RT6 on my Peugeot 508 2011 from version 2.21 to 2.86 and now I have an issue with echo on BT calls. I have backed up user settings with mirascript before update and loaded it back after update but it didn't resolve echo issue. Parking sensors volume is also lower.
Now, I can go back to 2.21 since I have saved that SD card and used new one for 2.86. I read somewhere that it is possible to keep everything working if you go in incremental updates from 2.21. Since I only have installation for 2.86, can someone help me with instruction and installation files of these versions between 2.21 and 2.86?
Thanks in advance.

Have a read of this to see if it helps you with Mirascripts viewtopic.php?p=866819#p866819
Come back here if this doesn't help you fix your echo and parking sensor volume although I don't think incremental upgrading over such a spread will be any better. See this table viewtopic.php?p=860696#p860696

I have tried this instruction from Mirascript pdf but with no result. It seems that system is ignoring all settings made here.
From this table it seems that you will lose all settings if you update from 2.21 to any higher version. Is there any info on what would happen if you do clean install of 2.86 and then take user_config.dat file from system and make changes on that file with DATEXPLORER?
Or, is it possible that someone who has the same car with 2.86 version installed and fixed echo issue to extract user config files with Mirascript and give them to me to upload it to my car?

I don't know but please let us know what happens if you go down this route.bojan2906 wrote: 06 Nov 2026, 22:35Is there any info on what would happen if you do clean install of 2.86 and then take user_config.dat file from system and make changes on that file with DATEXPLORER?
One further option is to pay a Peugeot dealer to download the configuration files stored on the Stellantis servers.

I know about that option for Peugeot dealer but I don't want to pay them that money...
I will post here what I did in the end.
Thank you.
