Hi everyone,
I have an issue with my peugeot 206 1.4 hdi 2006.
I get the fault code: Permanent fault. Flowmeter signal Air flow measured abnormally high - PP2000
I have changed the EGR valve, Temperature sensor for intake and MAF sensor.
In idle all parameter messurements looks correct.
When i clear the codes it runs rough around 3000 rpm and goes in to limp mode efter driving 5 minutes.
When driving with the MAF unplugged it runs good also above 3000 rpm. Anyone that has any guesses as of what this could be, as of now i have swapped the original MAF back in.

Can you confirm the numerical fault codes you are getting?
I used to be indecisive, now I'm not so sure!

It would also be useful to know the RPM and driving conditions when the fault code triggers.

The error reappears when going around 3000 rpm for a few minutes.
Fault code: P0100

Yes I ask the stupid questions, because normally it is that simple.

Re: Flowmeter signal Air flow measured abnormally high
Have you changed the MAF sensor for a cheapo brand or have you used Bosch/Siemens/VDO?
I cannot say categorically but I reckon a fair few issues start there with high readings? Interested in the outcome of this because my Xantia reads 535 instead 260 and I think it's largely down to a crap cheapo MAF sensor. Having said that, I think it used to read the same when it had the original on and I never got to the bottom of it. I did measure injector leak-off but cannot remember if they were losing too much in the given period and reluctantly I really don't think my car deserves new or refurbished injectors however much I love it.
