RT6 screen peeling
Hello, my Citroen RT6 screen is peeling, and it is difficult to see anything in direct sunlight. I removed it from the car, and I can see that it has some sort of plastic film. I read some posts stating that it is possible to remove it. The only downside is that the screen will be glossy, not matte. Has anybody tried to do that? I tried to remove the film, but it will not budge. Thank you.

Re: RT6 screen peeling
Is it an aftermarket screen protector or has it had the film from new?
I used to be indecisive, now I'm not so sure!

It likely had the film from new. I bought the car a few years ago. It was fine, and then it began peeling like this. First, there was a white spot in the middle under the film, then it started peeling as shown in the photo

Re: RT6 screen peeling
I have just changed the RT6 screen on my brother's 2011 Peugeot 308 today. This was the second attempt as there are two types of screen fitted. The second one fitted perfectly and the result is good.
If you have no success with fixing this peeling problem there is a 50% chance that the one I have here will fit. I would need a photograph of the back of the screen unit showing the part number to be sure.
