Looking for some help please!
I've recently purchased a 7 seater eBerlingo XL and there's a large hole under the passenger side footwell that we keep falling into as we get in and out of the car.
I've attached a picture because the interesting thing is Citroen's parts department say it shouldn't exist - has anyone seen this before and, more importantly, does anyone know where I can purchase the correct cover/lid??
Thank you in advance!

A job for a piece of strong plywood and a jigsaw I'd suggest!!
I used to be indecisive, now I'm not so sure!

Could it possibly be storage for a screw jack and some other bits in case of a puncture? Assuming you have a spare wheel of course. You may not, in which case that's why it's empty?

No spare wheel. I did think it could be for a patch and inflation kit, but Citroen don't seem to think it should have that either!
Plywood and jigsaw it is!

This video gives clues where an inflation kit might be located in a bag, possibly under a seat
