Hi
My intercooler air hose 03845J2 is fine but the seal to the air intake resonator 163614 is perished / has a few splits in it
It appears you can't buy the seal by itself, only the complete hose.
Has anyone found a replacement seal that works ? It seems it 54.5MM diameter
There are seals available for the 1.6L part 1434C8 but I assume they are smaller diameter.

I used to be indecisive, now I'm not so sure!
I used to ride on two wheels, but now I need all four!

Ive found a better solution - the Turbo Breather Intake Seal Kit For Mercedes OM642 A0179973545 A0149976445 A6420940080 does the job with a few mods and costs around AUD$6 off Aliexpress.
The kit comes with a large seal, small seal and 2 O rings - you only need the large seal and its roughly the same ID and OD as the old seal.
Mods needed are
1. cut the 4 buttons off the outside (I used a box cutter)
2. cut the inside lip off (box cutter again)
3. make it around 2mm shorter so it slips past the bottom edge on the resonator (I used some sharp scissors)
