Don't hold your breath too much on the mini front Jim, that's a definite "back burner" project if I even give it any more time (I'd like to at least see what went wrong, but Emma's not keen on wasting time when we could free up space and cash just scrapping it, which is fair but I want to give it my best shot).

Black hopefully will be done this week, as long as I'm allowed out of Ryan's shed (helping with wiring on his latest project, 4 stroke Honda clone engine in a Puch Maxi!)

Well the Puch is nearly completed now, just need a spring chain tensioner roller as the sprocket is in a different spot & requires the chain to be run a little on the loose side to prevent it binding under full compression (it's got rear suspension as it's a Mini-Maxi, also has a little fairing too)

Hopefully got a photo of it in progress to attach here, but should have one when it's back on the road too. Also, Ryan's a lucky sod and has been gifted a 1979 MZ TS125 by a neighbour. Not any TS125 either, the fella is an MZ old hand & this bike was fully restored 10 years ago with alloy rims/all stainless spokes & hardware etc. It has sat under a cover outdoors since, but looks like it'll clean up really nicely. Only a little jealous of that, I had a TS250 years ago and forgot how nice they really are.

Edit- Puch pretty much finished bar some tidying up & relocating the footpegs/shifter higher up possibly. The pit bike ones bolt to the bottom of the engine case & while they're fairly comfy position wise I did note Ryan's feet are quite close to the ground round corners. Will see how he gets on, but the bike's a little ripper now based on the quick test blast I had, much torquier than the old 2t engine.

Wow! That's a very special Puch Maxi Dan :D A Maxi Honda Monkey Bike :) Love it

I once had an MZ TS125 just like that one - except it had a blue tank... A pal of mine had a very nasty accident on it... Let's just say he left an imprint of his bollocks in the vertical part of the tank where it meets the seat... Hospitalised him...

And he did go on to have more children a few years later so no permanent damage :)
