I don't have the "Pound" symbol on my keyboard. So I have to write "pound" if I'm talking UK money.HarryMiller123 wrote: 06 Oct 2026, 23:57 BTW.... I hope I didn't offend anyone using 'Citroen' vs 'Citroën'. Obviously easier on a QWERTY keyboard....

On this forum, you can type all the standard symbols and accented characters... ö Ö≤≥∫∅€£¥°ozvtr wrote: 08 Oct 2026, 09:21I don't have the "Pound" symbol on my keyboard. It's funny. The 110Hp engine only has rear discs as an option in SEDRE. But the 90Hp has the option of drums or discs. So having drums on the back might be Kosher?PaulC5 wrote: 07 Oct 2026, 16:40 Your vin has the engine code 9HX which is a DV6ATED4 engine so using this in the parts diagrams for a C3II shows it can have rear discs or drums so your car may not have been modified.
I couldn't think of a logical scenario for why the rear end might have been changed. If the rear swing arm or stub axle were damaged that bad, I think most people would scrap the car. Particularly here where major parts are either unobtainable or hideously expensive.

I often forget that and dig out the character map just for the ° symbol.xantia_v6 wrote: 08 Oct 2026, 09:26On this forum, you can type all the standard symbols and accented characters... ö Ö≤≥∫∅€£¥°ozvtr wrote: 08 Oct 2026, 09:21I don't have the "Pound" symbol on my keyboard. I don't seem to be able to get the Unicode characters direct from the keyboard.

Ctrl + Shift + U: Press and hold Ctrl + Shift + U, release, type the hexadecimal code, and press Enter or Space.

The degree symbol ° I get by holding down the keyboard Alt button and on the right hand number pad 248.
Half ½ I get doing the same but Alt 171. ¼ by Alt 172 and so on. For these shortcuts the right hand Num Lock has to be on.

I have a vague recollection of doing it in Windows but it involved the Windows key.
Used to use it a lot for the Swedish extra characters (Ä ä Å å Ö ö). Can't remember the Unicode numbers any more though so the character map gets frequent use.
