DIY Car Maintenance with function over finesse!!

Yes I did have that one repaired and it is back on the car now. Sadly last week's repair only proved that the screw had gone through the tread and then the sidewall so irrepairable. After plugging the tread the sidewall started hissing at us as we inflated it!! So two new fronts will be going on next week and the decent spare, currently on the front nearside, returned to the boot.

A bit of pre MOT work on the MX3 pending its possible sale when MOT'd. I decided to go round all four corners and clean and rust treat as necessary with each wheel off. I only took one before and one after picture but they show the reason for my efforts:

The state they had got into!
