Replaced my stereo in Citroen c3 2002 and it's constantly powered on

I replaced my factory car stereo (Clarion RD-03 01 PU2471A-E) with a brand new Pioneer MVH-S320BT. I've found two different wire diagrams online and tested both of the possibilities of those diagrams of wrong connection with a multimeter. I've found the permanent and ground (they also match with both the diagrams) but the 12V switched cable on diagrams didn't match with any of the diagrams comparing it with the readings I've got.
Then I found a cable that has 0V when key is not turned on and 12V when key is on, this wire is the only one that does this, the others either don't have any power on them or they are 12v and when I turn the key it fluctuates all the time from 3-4v (meaning they are the van data cables).
So after a lot of thinking I decided to try and connect it to the cable labeled as van+ in the diagrams but showed normal readings. I connected it and it worked normally... Up till I switched the car off and the stereo stayed on.
So is my switch off only working with the factory stereo because it needs communication with the ECU? or is there another cable that does the same job and haven't found it?

If the car is CAN wired, then there is no 'normal' switched live; the OE radio is switched off by the BSI over the CAN. Often you can run in an ignition switched live from the cigarette lighter to switch it on and off with the key.

The VAN+ supply will stay live for about 3 minutes after turning the car off & will power the radio on as soon as you open a door & wake the network up.
As said above the easiest way is to run a new ignition switched supply from the cigarette lighter socket wiring.
On the power side of the radio there should only be 3 wires from the car connected to your radio, battery live, ignition live & earth. The data wires should not be connected at all to the new radio or you will give yourself lots of electrical issues.

Yes there are 3 cables coming from the car to the radio, I even switched the positions of pin in my adapter. I have a ground, a battery live and another one that shows as an ignition live in the multimeter (switches off with the key) but when connecting to the stereo it never switches off. This cable is listed as van+ in stereo diagram

I bought an Alpine UTE-93DAB head unit and upgraded the car with an Alpine sound system. I’m using an ISO-to-Quadlock adapter, and the head unit itself works perfectly.

The problem is that when I switch the ignition off, the radio loses all of its memory. The settings, saved stations, etc. are reset.

On the power side of the Quadlock adapter, the yellow and red wires are connected together, while the black ground wire is separate. I modified the wiring and connected the yellow wire to a permanent 12 V source using the F8 fuse circuit. However, the red wire is still connected together with the yellow wire on the adapter side, so both are effectively receiving permanent 12 V.

Because of this, the head unit does not switch off automatically when I turn the ignition off. I have to switch it off manually using the power button. After I do that, the clock remains on the display and everything seems to work normally.

What is the correct way to wire the yellow permanent 12 V and red ACC/switched 12 V wires on a Peugeot 207 with an Alpine UTE-93DAB? Should the red wire be connected separately to an ignition-switched 12 V source? Could the fact that the red and yellow wires are connected together in the Quadlock adapter be causing the problem?

Has anyone installed a similar setup on a Peugeot 207, or does anyone have any advice or recommendations?
