RT6 version 2.07

Unread post by harshil369 »

Hey everyone,
I just bought a 2013 Citroen DS5 hybrid.
My eMYWay system is running version 2.07.
I want to update it.
Does anyone have any tips or files for the upgrade?

Why do you want to update it? Are having a problem that you want to fix?

I can’t seem to find the driving assistance settings anywhere.
After my first drive, a "tyre pressure not monitored" alert popped up, and during my second drive, I got an "engine fault: stop the vehicle" warning.
Just half an hour ago I started the car and everything looked perfectly fine.
I only bought it today and I have no idea what's going on.

That doesn't sound like the RT6 unit is faulty. More like it is faithfully displaying the error messages that are being sent to it.

The first thing to do is to run a diagnostic on the car using a high end diagnostic machine, preferably Diagbox. A £30 Aldi special will only find errors in the engine ECU.

Thanks, mate, I'll give it a shot.
And if I want to update my firmware from 2.07 to the latest 2.86, can you show me how?

I can supply various intermediate steps before 2.86 and would caution about going to 2.86 which is major upgrade and can cause the RT6 unit to lose its configuration (Peugeot logo, loss of steering wheel controls, etc) and reset to a default. Before doing any updating I would strongly suggest using Mirascripts to download the configuration just in case.

Have you done a check for error codes yet?

Not yet; I have consulted with the seller regarding the engine fault, and they have committed to resolving the issue.
