Bought a second hand diesel this week, and there is no doubt it needs a service.There is no history.
The dipstick appears to have minute droplets of water on, and the coolant seems to have a very thin skin on , a bit like soluble oil.
The exhaust smokes mildly (light greyish) every time you accelerate.
Any reason to panic ? I am most concerned with droplets on dipstick, these are VERY small.
I can service and change oil and all filters (air filter is a bit dusty, but seen worse!), but am a bit worried I may have a cylinder head problem.
Any views ? Its L reg and done 93000. It runs quite well.
