Are you also going to CCC Chevron Rally on Sat 12th - or Sun 13th Sept as well ?

If I remember rightly it was £18 per day (non-CCC member) last time I went but I’m struggling to find prices for this year?

If I go this year it will be without a car but I’m guessing it will be a similar price as a pedestrian

Edit looks like £10 a car per day so I might just thumb a lift around the corner

I'll only be there for a short time on the Saturday afternoon Gary as on Sunday I'll be at a running event and hopefully, getting muddy! It's a trail run - my favourite sort

Bluebell's intermittent electrical fault finally allowed me to determine its cause...

I found a light tap on the top of the dash, in the vicinity of the fusebox, fixed it... I then localised it to F3. Fuse out, cleaned up and back in.

Things are a lot less intermittent now and if it does happen again I know which fuse to tweak.

Longer-term I'll need to pop the fusebox out and check it over properly.

All just in time for the car show today

Totally cool , me and a friend when we were teens used to do photography, he has the dark room under his parents stairs , it was a big old victoriana house, brilliant watching how it was all done, kne one we were out at our local big park full moon low mist everywhere he had his camera practika with all the dials and fancy lenses , the photos he took were great , its a great hobby to do .shame its nearly all digital now adays

It is and it's fun and very satisfying and fulfilling Most of my photography is film. I only use my digital for sports photography these days and my phone for quick ephemeral snaps...

A most excellent visit to Mick yesterday to perform a repair on my Picasso mudshield...

It had a hole in it and a growing split where it may well have been hit by a stone at some point in the past...

I was treated to a proper masterclass in using those plastic welding staples and then a bit of filling and patching..

Then we went for a rather excellent lunch

I was shocked to see diesel is now almost two quid a litre in some places I needed to fill up and did so when I spotted a garage flogging it for £1.89 a litre...

Lots of miles to do this weekend... I have a big running event to enjoy.

Health remains very good Looks like I'm well fixed now... Doctor is happy, except... I'm overdosing on Vitamin D

I'm always very cautious to keep well covered up in the sun following my skin cancer diagnosis and to compensate I've always taken a high-strength Vitamin D supplement. Seems I've been overdoing it!

Nice repair there Jim, I paid 213.9p per litre seems funny how trump entertains a Saudi prince then there's a war of make belive reasons then hey fuel prices are up , wonder what he'd do if we all quit cars ...and golf or his hotels and that pet wig of his i mean all that money and that's the best he can do ,ive seen better run over road kill....

.......Whilst in the showroom, I had a quick look at the new R5... Nice colour Shame about the rest of it and it's bloody huge. As is the new R4 also in the showroom but in a dull grey ditch water colour so I didn't bother to photograph it... Both are electric allegedly...



This one might be a Clio - I confess I didn't really look that closely - is in a gorgeous colour Love it! That's just the colour, not the car.....

Correct Jim it's an R5 and here's the first one I've seen on the road in Darlington.

My new ablutions room is now complete and it's great

I can't call it a bathroom as it doesn't actually have a bath any more!

I'm now busy ridding my house of dust from the extensive building work. It's got everywhere

Worth it for the excellent work done; the two lads who did all the work - truly multi-skilled craftsmen - did an awesome job

What dose were you taking? And did the doctor determine that it was excessive from tests or symptoms?
