Wet Footwell C4 B7

2013 Citroen C4

Came out the other evening after heavy rain the drivers footwell was wet.

I had this before when i was changing the suspension had to remove the scuttle panel stayed off for a week as I needed parts during that period it get wet so put some carboard down to soak it up.

Since then refitted the plastic scuttle yes a few clips broke but its in place and all seems ok, the only seems to happen if i park facing downwards when I park facing up the hill does not seem to happen?

Ok question here is what should i be looking for or attempt to fix? is the plastic scuttle essential it seals to bottom of the screen thinking was put in bed a silicone to seal the gap?

Or is there another issue like a blocked drain or some other known point of failure, it looks like rain water not coolant and car has been used with heater on no leaks.

You say only when parked down hill, early B7's sufford from rear tail light seals leaking, I know as I had one replaced. Check carpets in rear footwells.

its only the driver side footwell that gets wet boot and rear are dry.

Must be a blocked drain or the seal from the plastic scuttle not being perfect
