Re: Peugeot 2008. The new chapter
Have you tried changing deodorant? Jokes .... honestly I know what you mean , ive seen it myself when I was younger a lad in one of my classes , our walk home from school was about 3 mile ( notice the word walk , not driven in a large tank like kids are nowadays) this one lad would walk the same route and each time we passed a certain house which had a back alley way we would use as a short cut , the dog there would only good mad when this lad passed the gate , everyone else it did nothing . So we used to say change your deodorant just to pull his leg lol

Re: Peugeot 2008. The new chapter
Brakes arrived yesterday along with some pretty strong rain and gusts off over 35mph ... jobs off , ordered a new trolly jack with a heavier lifting capability too. Once that arrives then the brakes can be done , at the moment my jack is under my other car along with an axle stand ..
Photos of task will be all posted along with sizes of nuts , bolts and so on just incase anyone at some point in time needs any references

Ok so inspections of pads yesterday they are ok it would be false economy to change just yet , how ever passenger side front top tie rod had worn that bad you can rock the wheel with hands at 9 and 3 o'clock position and its lose and knocks . I've also booked a slot with my mot place to do the wheel bearing if needed , if its only the top tie rod then I can cancel wheel bearing job, tie rod arrives Wednesday. Weather today very wet tomorrow dry

If it's play in the wheel bearing, I'd think you could get it to rock at 6 and 12 as well as 9 and 3.
If you can get a helper (either pulling at the wheel of under the car) I've found putting your hand in each joint as it's stressed is best way to confirm what up- you can feel the relative movement (e.g between hub and track rod end) when your hands span between them.
Can't do that for wheel bearing but sometimes can see brake disk move relative to caliper with bearing play
