Robbed the parts ??.....nope, they just change what is covering the base shell and, as the base shell is a standardised StellyWhatsIt design all things become one.
It makes me laugh a little when people express a strong "brand loyalty" these days....."I always buy Citroen"....giggle... no you don't and have not since the last of the C5 Exclusives..

hydraulic bump stops are miles away from a full hydraulic system of old, many use hydraulic bump stops heavy industry uses them a anti vibration mounts just give a damped effect rather the thud of rubber.
Not an expert but from what i have read front still McPherson struts eg coil springs and dampers with hydraulic bumps stops, rear torsion beam yes they have changed bushing material and spring and damper rates, but still lacks trick suspension.
From my experience of EVs that much power and torque via from wheels is not clever, my Kona has only 204 PS but sledgehammer 395 Nm the front can't deal with it, in the wet or damp wheelspin is silly the instant torque of an EV is hard to explain until you feel it. I know this has a trick dif but you cant shake physics especially in short wheel base abrupt acceleration lifts the nose and squats the rear taking weight off the front wheels. Remember EVs are not light a lot of mass to move about, manufactures are turning to FWD for cost and packaging in an EV RWD or 4wd makes sense.
Same power and torque rear drive no drama just squats and goes.
Lets put it this way I will not have another FWD EV that my personal experience, plus no matter what they say not as exciting as going through the revs and matching a perfect shift its just press n go
