DS5 door handle

Hi all well still have the DS5 2013 had the airbag done by the recall,I wonder if there is a solution to the fact my drivers door will not lock by touching the three horizontal lines on the door handle the other three doors lock ok,just spent a hour looking at the manual and it does not mention anything about the door locking,I wondered if the drivers door might be set up using the cars computer ,I can live with it but would like to solve the problem.

I had the same problem, both my driver side front and rear stopped working. Citroen wanted I think £212 or thereabouts each!! I ended up buying two from Aliexpress. I honestly believe that they are the genuine article, they are both stamped with the Citroen logo and have worked perfectly for over a year now. I paid about £50 each for them and the quality is amazing. Hope that's some help.. I just fitted them and they worked, no diagnostics involved.

Thanks Andy may well buy a handle then,its just weird all the door handles will unlock by just touching the handles,but as I posted 3 will lock touching the 3 lines on the handle but not the drivers door,may well sell the car as I have had it 8 years but looking at possible replacement seems a difficult problem,I love the car very few on the road
