As the years go by, the C6 is starting to look quite good. I thought, when they were new, they looked a bit like a gargoyle...

I suppose that they now look good is a sad reflection of what's on the road these days

Agree, many new cars these days are shaped like a brick. Fuel economy can not be good. Despite being outwardly huge, many of them have small boots so not very practical and parking must be awful.

A few weeks ago in our hospital car park somebody in a huge suv type car could not get their car out of the space so were trapped. They had driven in forward but then due to other parked cars which probably arrived later the suv could not reverse out being too big. We were in the 308 and I had reversed in to the same area a few spaces away and had no problem getting out forward.

We had similar in the MK Hospital car park yesterday. It was actually both funny and pathetic to watch. My daughter had no problem as her Renault Catsup or whatever it is - can never remember its exact name - nowadays seems quite minuscule in this brave new world of giant SUVs

The problem of 'loosing' my little AX in carparks amongst the behemoths is getting an ever more serious issue!

I so want to take a marker pen to a Ford Ranger and subtly change the word 'Ranger' on its tailboard to 'Banger'...

Once, I saw a Bailey Ranger caravan that had its name subtly changed to 'Railey Banger'. My girls, then still quite little, found it as funny as I did...

Except... A few days later at a campsite we were staying at, one of them called out - in easrshot of the owner - 'Oh look Daddy! A Railey Banger!!'

The owner of said caravan was not amused
