3008 blank screen / request for RTEG 2.8 ISO firmware

Hi,

I have Peugeot 3008 Allure HDI 1.6, 2014.
Screen is completely black (not even logo) or doesn't open; the CD drive tries to load/eject every 10 seconds; no rear camera nor parking sensors support.
Couple of times I tried to restart the unit by pressing Eject for 15s, I can hear/feel the restart attempt, but then it's back to 10s CD ejects. Tried disconnecting battery for 1h. No luck.

I dismantled radio unit, took SD card out, dumped it with DMDE tool to .img file using read-only adapter. No errors or bad sectors during the operation.
Then I investigated the content of the SD:
- 3 partitions, I believe one is for maps, other for the core system
- 8781/EOL/MasterConfig_008781.inf contains lines:

- 8781/BACKUP_BR/BOOTROM.DAT.inf contains:

Therefore I believe currently installed version is RTEG/RT6_2.80C.

With DMDE I dumped .img into new SD card. So created byte-by-byte clone of the original SD card.
Then I mounted the new SD, assembled radio, started car. Same issues - screen black + CD ejects every 10s. CD ejects happen even when the car is locked. So to save battery I ejected F9 fuse and finally came here to ask for help:

1. Can you please help in identifying version of the software? Where should I look at in the files structure?
2. If my guess of RT6_2.80C is correct, can you please share firmware's ISO image? I can only find 2.86, which I'm not keen to try. I'm probably looking for something that identifies as: 9691737180 (CD 8784 / firmware RNEG 2.80, ISO 140507_1353.ISO)

My goal is to try flashing the SD card with pendrive with the same firmware version. Maybe some boot sectors are corrupted and my new SD copy just replicates the same issue from the old one and flashing could fix that.

I agree, it's 2.80. Check your PM in 5 minutes. I can't guarantee it'll be sub ver 'C' though.

It worked!

Some insights:
Pendrive preparation - just extracted the files from ISO; making pendrive bootable does not work.

After starting the car and mounting USB, the CD player spin every 10s stopped immediately. Shortly after that, the screen came back to life with message about checking CRC, then there were 2 or 3 other screens about loading firmware, ~10 minutes in total. Then blank screen for few minutes. An finally Peugeot logo and main screen loaded. All took around 15 minutes.
During this time I was using the car, drove to inflate tires, etc.
Checked that rear view camera did not work; no parking sensors.

So I pulled out the F8 fuse to disconnect power, dismantled RT6 again, took the SD card, restored config files from original SD backup:

Then assembled all.
