Hi all,
I'm getting a slight knock from the front end since the top mount and strut bearing has been replaced, checked all nuts and bolts and all are tight so was maybe thinking the big rubber mount that is on the strut is the wrong way round, any ideas?
This is how it looks from above fitted, thinking it's wrong maybe??
Ds3 top strut mount orientation?

Hard to tell but is the strut not central and check the other side but is there a peg sticking through the hole where you can see through with a bit of turquoise colour. If done at a garage I would take the car back and complain.

Definitely not central, and is that a missing bolt? Push the car around and see it if moves in relation to the body.

Could be wear in the strut that is letting the chrome shaft move a bit sideways. I had it on a C4, replacing the strut fixed it. It sounded like a metallic knock or a ball bearing in a tin can. Hard to check on the car but once removed the play was obvious.
