C4 Grand Picasso Mk2
So the plastic retaining clip in the clutch pedal that grabs the ball end of the master cylinder piston has broken (again). Unfortunately the piston gave up the ghost this time and I find myself having to replace the master cylinder as well.
But me and two other guys have tried and failed to get the cover off that's under the front wiper blades to get access. The cover is shown in this helpful video (timestamped at 28seconds):
How does it come out? I've tried yanking it forward, up and down etc but it doesn't want to disconnect from underneath the window. There's only so much force anybody's happy to give it without knowing the right technique. Does it pull straight forwards towards the front of the car and I just need to give it a bit of welly? Do we put pressure down and then pull out?
Thanks for any pointers.

The video can not be seen on here. If you have a photo that might be better.

Yeah, I don't know why YT does that. If you click on the text it'll take you to YouTube. I can't see anywhere to upload pictures or I would have preferred doing that but the section is shown in that video. Cheers for the nudge!PaulC5 wrote: 24 Aug 2026, 11:39 The video can not be seen on here. If you have a photo that might be better.

As I get older I think a lot about the hereafter - I go into a room and then wonder what I'm here after.

This topic on the C4owners site should help http://c4owners.org/plugins/forum/forum ... php?237034

Done it at last! It is indeed simple when you know how. Remove the windscreen wipers and the single bolt in the middle, then `peel back' the scuttle from one end, across the width of the car. Do not pull forwards. It is a press-fit into the channel at the bottom of the windscreen (shown by arrow).
Needed a puller to remove the windscreen wiper arms by the way.
