Does my C5 X7 have one or two hydraulic suspension pumps?

I know the question probably seems weird or even stupid, but the thing is that my car (C5 X7 2.2 hdi cross tourer from 2014 with DW12C engine) lies flat on the ground, and I am not able to get under it

It keeps blowing the hydraulic pump midi fuse, which is located in the box with the red lid sitting on the side of the battery.

I assume it is due to a dirty or worn out pump unit motor.

The reason for my question is that when the car was working and able to rise, it seemed to me that I could hear the sound of a hydraulic pump working both from the front and from the rear of the car. When adjusting the rear ride height, the pump sound seemed to me to come from the rear of the car. (I am sure it was not the fuel pump.)

So - in case it actually has two pump units, it could be either of them, which is worn out and causes the fuse to blow.

This car is much more complex than my previous C5 X7s, for example by having two height sensor in the rear, one at each wheel and no possibility to adjust the rear height manually. So could it be that it also has a separate hydraulic pump for the rear suspension - and if yes where is it located? And would someone have either a diagram or a part number for such pump - if it exists!

This is not a definitive answer but I have been unable to find any trace of a second pump in the back. So if I am wrong you can be pretty sure one of our more knowledgeable members will be on here to correct me pretty soon!

When adjusting the rear ride height, the pump sound seemed to me to come from the rear of the car. (I am sure it was not the fuel pump.)

Possible you are hearing fluid going through the rear valve block.

I am trying to replace the electric motor while keeping the pump unit and the reservoir in place. With the headlight removed it is very easy to access the motor, and I have most things disassembled quite fast.

Last thing I need to do is to unscrew the center axle of the electric motor from axle of the the pump unit, and it seems it is possible to lock the axle of the pump by inserting a screwdriver into a hole in the pump unit - but it is at the bottom of the pump and therefore not accessible with the pump unit in place in the car.

Any tips regarding how to lock the center axle of the pump unit, so I can unscrew the electric motor from the unit?

I'll do my best to make pictures, so I can post a how-to later.

While searching for an answer to your one or two pumps question I looked up the diagram for your suspension to see if it had two pumps. It doesn't but you might like to see it anyway for future reference
