Getting back on track
Bit of a nice surprise the other day getting 4 new tyres put on the 2008!
Turns out it uses an indirect TPMS system tied directly into the ABS setup rather than individual sensors inside the wheel rims. The fitter spotted it straight away and refunded me almost £39 for the unused sensor kit/service. Always a win when you deal with an honest garage!

Yep, that's me. I'm quite ambivalent about them; some I love to bits and many others I detest - usually the little yappy ones with attitude.Huskyxantia wrote: Today, 08:12 Im not a massive dog person , but saying that I dont dislike them either
That said, I'm a bit of a dog-magnet - most dogs seem to love me, even ones I can't find a lot of affection for.
I'd never own a dog as I could not give any dog the life and home it requires. I know that and the same goes for cats. It would be cruel to subject any dog or cat to my way of living.
In fact, I won't have any pet at all. In trust I don't need to as I get a lot of pleasure from meeting up with many dogs (and their owners) I've got to know very well during my morning runs around the town and across the common.
And fully agreed Husky about the breeding of them for the fun of it..

Re: Peugeot 2008. The new chapter
There are a few people whom ive seen dump cats in people's gardens because they know you have (we)animals, the wifes ex husband Bill hooks for brains several years ago throw a blind cat out of his ford caffins work van one night about 11.45 pm the shot off as quick as he could , he was captured in my cctv , we took the cat to our vet and had to have the poor thing put down as it was in a right mess , I gave the cctv footage to the vet the vet followed this up he got caught, ban from keeping any animals then 3 years later he's dumping kittens at his daughters place 6 of them riddled with fleas , 2 had cat flu , she went absolutely nuts and told me she herself reported him to the rspca and had to sort all these kittens out 2 died , she kept one the rest were lucky and got re homed , the bloke is a total ass hole, and has now done a runner up the east coast side which I won't disclose ...

Email from ebay
We’re introducing Fitment Plus Auto from 15 September 2026 to help buyers find the right vehicle parts more easily, improving the shopping experience. It’ll automatically add compatible information to your eligible UK Parts & Accessories listings where appropriate. Your live listings will be updated automatically, so there’s nothing you need to do.
How it works
1.
Fitment Plus Auto checks the item’s brand and Manufacturer Part Number (MPN) against our fitment database
2.
When a match is found, it automatically adds the compatible vehicle information to your listing, though any information you’ve previously entered remains unchanged
For eligible listings that already have fitment information included, Fitment Plus Auto may add missing or updated compatible vehicle information to help improve coverage.

Re: Peugeot 2008. The new chapter
Quote "Dogs can sense how you feel about them. They use their keen senses of smell, hearing, and sight to read your emotional state and attitude toward them" so that usually says more about the owner than the dog.
We once had a normally very placid bichon frisé who growled ferociously when a certain local farmer visited us.
Turned out he was the cruelest bastard imaginable who, I found out later, treated his animals appallingly with permanently caged dogs, goats with laminitis. walking on their knees & horns growing into their skulls for a small example.
He would rather see them suffer than pay for vets treatment.
