2016 Berlingo B9 – BSM-R04-01 Horn Output Pin / Wiring Diagram

Hi, I’m hoping someone with access to Citroën/ServiceBox wiring diagrams can help with a horn fault on my 2016 Berlingo B9.

Vehicle: 2016 Citroën Berlingo B9 1.6 HDi
VIN: VF7**************[VIN obfuscated, can be read by forum staff]
BSM: Delphi BSM-R04-01
BSM part number: 9807028780

Fault/testing so far:

* Original horn was dead when tested directly.
* New replacement horn works when connected directly to 12V.
* Steering-wheel horn button causes a definite click from the under-bonnet BSM/fusebox.
* F2 15A horn fuse is intact.
* With ignition on, F2 measures approximately 10.6V on both sides, rising to around 12.5V when the horn button is pressed.
* At the original two-pin horn connector I get no usable 12V output when the horn is pressed.
* Both original horn wires were also checked to chassis earth and neither appears to be a switched earth.

I have seen the earlier Berlingo B9 diagram posted here where wire 250 runs directly from the BSM to the horn with no joins, and the symptoms are very similar — BSM relay clicking but no horn.

Could anyone please provide the VIN-specific horn wiring diagram for this vehicle and, most importantly:

1. Which BSM connector contains the horn output?
2. What is the exact connector pin number?
3. Is the horn output wire still circuit/wire number 250 on this 2016 BSM-R04-01?
4. Is the horn relay internal to the BSM on this version?

I want to continuity-test the BSM horn output directly to the original horn connector to establish whether I have a broken loom wire or a failed internal BSM output.

Any diagram/screenshot would be greatly appreciated. The van is currently off the road awaiting MOT so I’m trying to get this diagnosed as quickly as possible.

Unfortunately I cannot help as my Servicebox backup only covers vehicles up to 2012 and the Forum no longer has access to the VIN database. However there are members with their own access and hopefully one of them will help you out. Good luck
