Coolant temp sensor

Hi
Think I need a new coolant temperature sensor on my 2015 308SW 1.6 BlueHdi, engine code DV6FC
Dash gauge reads 90c even when cold and dash lights up like a Christmas tree and warns me to STOP the car. Had a fun 800 mile trip back from France in limp mode the whole way!!

Anyone know where the sensor is located on these cars or is it a permanent part of the frighteningly expensive thermostat housing

I've seen your post on Peugeot Forums and given a reply there. No harm posting here as well. Who knows, you might even get a correct reply!

Quick update, I found the sensor, it was on the thermostat housing and identified by being the green connector. Had to remove, the air filter box, air inlet and turbo hoses and some wiring to get to it but once there could see that the connector was loose. Clicked it back into place and looks like it's all sorted.
Easy fix and annoying that was all it needed to clear the fault but don't think there was any way I could of accessed it by the side of the road for my journey home
