Hello everyone,
My car has 44,000 km on it, and I was about 1,000 km late for the oil service. Afterwards, I started hearing a rattling-like noise when I press the accelerator, similar to the sound in the video.
Does anyone know what might be causing this issue?

Sounds fairly normal to me although the sound quality is not great on my PC speaker.
I used to be indecisive, now I'm not so sure!
I used to ride on two wheels, but now I need all four!

The sound seems clearer in this video. Also, this noise has only recently started coming from my car. It wasn’t there before.

It could be the cam shaft chain is badly worn and might break soon and damage the engine. This is a common problem on the 1.5 hdi engine and the warranty on these was extended to 10 years by Peugeot. However, for this it probably needs to be serviced on time so if you take it to your Peugeot dealer to be checked Peugeot might not want to pay for any repairs. I would not use the car much until it has been checked. There was also a recall for the dealer to listen to the engine and if needed the chain and a lot of other bits would be replaced, the recall in the UK was MXL for our 308sw.
