Hi everyone,
I have a Peugeot 607, 2007 model, and I'm having an issue with the trunk/boot:
When I first try to open it, it starts vibrating/shaking.
Then it only opens a small amount (not fully).
After that, it vibrates again and doesn't complete opening.
Has anyone experienced this before? Could this be related to the trunk motor/actuator, the central locking system, or a mechanical obstruction? Any guidance on diagnosis or repair would be appreciated.
Thanks in advance!

My initial reaction to that is are the struts seizeing?
I used to be indecisive, now I'm not so sure!
I used to ride on two wheels, but now I need all four!

Having watched a friend’s 607 boot lid opening, it might be the motor failing.
Cheers,
