Anyone know of a reliable source for connection-info for the 37-pin Bosch Motronic MP5.1.1 ECU as fitted to Xantia 16v petrol engines?
Having wasted money on the Haynes manual and found that it wrongly quotes this as being a 35-pin unit (Which calls into doubt anything else it might say!!) I'm stumped as to getting accurate connection-info.
Fault: Fuel-pump relay not engaging. Relay itself is OK.

VF7**************[VIN obfuscated, can be read by forum staff] 1996
16v 1.8 DOHC engine.
Bosch MP5.1.1 ECU. (37-pin) and 15-pin dual relay.
It does have an inertia switch, but I don't think this is responsible. It checks-out as OK. HST, the wiring to it might be unreliable -this is where I need the ECU pinout to check it through.
Anyway, it started first time today
after going over the whole fuel/ignition system thoroughly yesterday.
Think I may have cured it (hopefully!) but info on injection box pinout and if possible the procedure for reading diagnostic codes would be helpful anyway if available.
Thanks, Ian.

Thanks for help. Yes I was looking at the Gunsons readers today, HST £20 is a bit steep for what appears to be a LED and a switch! There's also the issue that it might not cover this model - hard to be sure.
The connector info will be useful, thanks. Car ran fine today, first working day this year so I needed it for a site visit. Extremely cold (never got above -1C all day) yet it started instantly.
I'm hoping I 've nailed the problem.
I want to check the lambda sensor action anyway, just in case it might be running an incorrect mixture. It's a near-new cat, and I don't want to ruin it.

you can chek the lambda [oxigen] sensor in very easy way. the sensor have 2 conector. one red colour 2 white wires conected, for sensor heater.another white colour grey and black wires conected for milivoltage sens for ecu .first, disconect the red conector chek impadence 4-6 ohm acceptable.run the engine and with tester and diode chek batarry voltage WARNING:DO NOT CHEK WITHOUT DIODE IT'LL BLOE ECU EARTH GATE.disconect the white conctor and chek with multimeter change of voltage between 0-1000 mV . if you chek it all OK ,the sensor just fine.
