Started with constant beeping

Got a strange one.
Popped to the shop and all was fine. Got back into the car and a beeping noice like a parking sensor was constantly beeping. Got home and turned the engine off and the beeping continued and the radio wouldn’t turn off.

Disconnected the battery for a couple of mins and then tried started the car and now the engine sounds like the starter motor is constantly going but it won’t actually fire up The beeping has stopped but even with the engine off the radio and dashboard are all on.

Nothing in the vechicle diagnostic section of the headunit.

Any thoughts ?

First thing I'd try is a BSI reset following the link below. Just a thought you didn't have shopping on the passenger seat did you?

That's a thought Mick.
I always chuck the shopping on the back seat but never had any warnings that I have noticed.
