Xsara picasso diesel leak off pipe

Hi,

I wonder if you lovely people can help me please?

The diesel leak off pipe ( the fuel return from the injectors) has come off, and for the life of me, I can't see where it re- attaches.

If someone could tell me please, ot even better show me a picture, that would be most helpful.

This is the best I can offer, hopefully you can work it out from there. I have ringed the connection in red.

Hi Mick,

Thank you for replying. Unfortunately my engine layout seems slightly different. I've even had the fuel filter housing off and can see no obvious place for the pipe to go. I've added a photo of my engine and the pipe in question is circled in red.

That kink ringed in orange shouldn't be there!! I'd take off the clip arrowed in yellow and get that hose out of the way. Then I reckon you'll find your pipe should be connected to the one I've arrowed in green. Looking at the end of the pipe I think it may actually have broken your connector so you may have to replace the whole thing.

Thanks for the reply. I'm aware thst the kink shouldn't be there. I moved the pipe deliberately over the top of the dipstick for a better view. Ive returned it now.

I can't see anything obvious that is broken or where the pipe should go. I'll look again.
