C5 scrap rescue

A forum for new members to introduce themselves to the rabble already onboard. Not compulsory!
Tell us a little about yourself, lie if you have to but keep it to just an introduction, not a car discussion.

C5 scrap rescue

Unread post by M4ns4lor »

Good afternoon.
I am a Japanese car person, that just betrayed the Hondas for the Citroen.
Worse, I love it. Rescued a C5 estate from scrapping and fallen in love with it.
It's a pleasure to meet You all

Hello and :welc:

You have made a good choice and the time and effort to save it will be well rewarded. :)
I used to be indecisive, now I'm not so sure!
I used to ride on two wheels, but now I need all four!

Should be a good car, why was it scrapped ? A couple of common faults to check, make sure the front wipers work and check the steering rack is not leaking where the column joins the rack.
