C5 2.2HDI 2001-4 - APEC/Brakefit caliper incorrect fit

Just a heads up for anyone looking for an APEC/Brakefit brake caliper for a 2001-4 C5 2.2HD, specifically in my case, the front right, but the incorrect fit may apply to other APEC/Brakefit products.
I ordered on Ebay a front right brake caliper for my 2001 C5 2.2HDi. I chose the cheapest...an APEC caliper... from a major Ebay parts seller offering a 15% discount coupon and free next day delivery. The listing title specified the correct Citroen part number 4400L9. However, it did not fit; the caliper-to-carrier bolt holes were approx 20mm short. The APEC ref no was RCA240N, but the box contained a Brakefit BCA 1422 as stencilled on the caliper.
Worryingly, ParstInMotion also sell the Brakefit BCA1422 and state it is correct for my specific reg number!! Oh no it isnt!!
Anyone have any other such experience of Brakefit?

PS the seller has acknowledged there is a "data error" and I will get a full refund inc return postage under Ebays fit guarantee.

Good to hear from you Peter, I would assume that PartsinMotion take there fitting guides from the manufacturers, so not surprising they have the same error. I have found in the past that they will acknowledge and amend any errors discovered by customers in similar circumstances.
