2014 Early model without ICE module

Unread post by C4owner78 »

Hi,

Our C4 grand picasso doesn't have a module to enable us to play Spotify or maps directly off the screen.

Not exactly sure what the technical name for all this is,but basically I'd love to be able to upgrade our screen in the car so you can see photos on screen (pretty sure some models had this option) and see the pictures of tracks playing like artist etc.

And the icing on the cake would be to be able to screen mirror YouTube or similar to screen.

I'm not after a bolt on screen as I love the aesthetics of inside the car without adding any additional bits in front of the original screen if that makes sense.

I just want to use What's there and modernise it as much as possible.

Pretty sure there are modules that plug in behind screen...But question is which one? And do they actually work??

TIA guys/girls 🙏🏼

I have moved your post here as it is the place to get help with your issues. Good luck :)

What you're after, I think, is a box that hides in the dashboard somewhere. The first name that I heard of was Ebilaen but there is a multitude of other names nowadays. Have a search for one of these brands: Atoto, Ebilaen, Ekiy, Farcar, Funrover, Idoing, Isudar, Joying, Junsun, Mekede, NaviFly, or Sinosmart. Most of those names I'd never heard of until I did this search!
As I get older I think a lot about the hereafter - I go into a room and then wonder what I'm here after.

Inside every old person is a young person wondering what the hell happened.

Thank you for your prompt response!

Yes I also have come across some of these names on the search I have done, but I just want to be 100% sure whatever I buy is compatible and works without loosing any functions or setting off error codes.

I'm hoping someone sees this who actually has done this and has had great results.
