Multifunction display C5 2010

Unread post by johnsail »

Hi. Have purchased from eBay a replacement multifunction display. The new display shows 4 categories whereas the old one showed 3 - music, coms and phone.
Does the new display need programming to the car?
Any help will be very much appreciated.

I have moved this topic to this area where you have a better chance of some assistance. Good luck :)
I used to be indecisive, now I'm not so sure!
I used to ride on two wheels, but now I need all four!

Hi All. I’m still struggling with this mutifunction display.
I have an RD4 head and desperately need a new display. The one that is now completely unusable most of the time had/ has 3 menu options - audio, communication and Bluetooth/phone.
Thus far the closest that I have been able to find is one with 4 menu options - audio, a wrench symbol, comms and Bluetooth/ phone.
Are these displays programmable? In other words could the wrench option be programmed out using Lexia or similar to produce just the 3 menu options that I need?
If not can anyone suggest where I might find the 3 menu display.
Alternatively could I use the 4 menu option display and just ignore the ‘wrench’ menu?
Any help on this will be very much appreciated.
