Hi all,
I have a 2016 308 (T9) and neither of the rear windows work, front are fine. Is there a shared fuse or relay that would explain both not working outside joint regulator failure? I don't recall them ever working since I bought the car tbh, so I'm not sure how they've been treated previously.
Tried having a look online for a fuse etc. but not had any luck. Would just like to confirm I'm not missing anything simple before I delve into the doors themselves?
Cheers!

On the driver's door window switch, the button at the rear of it disables the rear windows - is this pressed down ? Info in the handbook could be page 69.

Hi Paul, no that's not pressed, and the light turns on/off when I press it so it's at-least somewhat functional! I suppose that could have a fault and while the light is responding, the control to the rear windows is not and they're stuck disabled? More or less likely that double regulator fail?

Hi Dale,
I just wanted to check whether you ever found a solution to this issue.
My 2016 Peugeot 308 SW (T9) has recently developed a very similar fault. Both rear windows have stopped working. At first, I assumed it was a blown fuse, but I checked them all and couldn't find any faulty ones.
During a recent trip, the windows suddenly started working again. Unfortunately, this didn't last. Since then, I've tested them on almost every journey and found they work only about once every 15–20 trips. When they do work, both rear windows operate perfectly until I switch the engine off. After restarting the car, they're usually dead again.
I've also noticed that, when the windows aren't working, I can still hear the relays clicking inside the doors when I press the window switches.
I've already tried the BSI reset procedure (disconnecting the battery, waiting, etc.), but that didn't make any difference.
I also wanted to reinitialise the anti-pinch function. However, when the fault is present, I can't lower either window, and when the windows do work, they operate normally rather than in the step-by-step mode needed for reinitialisation.
I have Diagbox and ran the BSI actuator tests under the "Locking and Opening" section. Everything appears to function correctly, with no faults reported, including the "Rear electric windows authorisation activation" (the rear window lock button on the driver's door switch).
My next step will probably be to inspect the wiring looms, ground points, and connectors around the BSI. Before I start pulling things apart, I thought I'd ask whether you (or anyone else) ever found the cause, or if there are any other ideas worth checking.
Many thanks in advance.

How old is the vehicle's battery?
As I get older I think a lot about the hereafter - I go into a room and then wonder what I'm here after.

Hi Paul,
Changed in January, so it's half a year old and works fine. I tested a few months ago with a battery tester, and both the charging and the battery were in great condition.
