Citroen DS5 2012 front suspension parts

Unread post by segswc »

Hello everyone,

I'm planning to completely refurbish the front suspension on my Citroën DS5 to make it feel smooth and silent again :)
, but I'm having some difficulty identifying the correct parts.

My goal is to replace:

All suspension rubber bushings/silent blocks
Ball joints (where applicable)
Wheel hub/bearing components if needed
Shock absorbers and related mounting hardware

The problem is that I keep finding multiple versions of the same parts with different diameters, mounting styles, and specifications depending on the supplier. I don't want to order the wrong components.

Would anyone be able to share the OEM parts catalogue (Service Box) diagrams or exploded schematics for the complete front axle/front suspension and front wheel hub assembly? Even screenshots would be extremely helpful.

Vehicle details:

Citroën DS5
Type: K / KFRHH / KFRHHA
Engine: RHH (2.0 HDi)
VIN: VF7**************[VIN obfuscated, can be read by forum staff]

If someone could also provide the original PSA part numbers for the suspension components, I would really appreciate it.

Thank you very much for your help!

Unfortunately the forum no longer has access to the VIN database following a Stellantis policy change, Hence in order to find anything you need to confirm the year, body style, transmission and ideally the RPO number, usually found on the tyre sticker on the door frame, for us to be able to find any information. :)
I used to be indecisive, now I'm not so sure!
I used to ride on two wheels, but now I need all four!

Absolutely.
2.0 HDiF 160 16V, Hatchback, Diesel, 1,997cc, 120kW (163pk), 2011-11 / 2015-07
RHH (DW10CTED4) 163 hp engine.
Mine is year 2012
RPO number is:
1291089
20496
KWED
720 en
3816
(Not sure if you need the entire number on
the tire pressure sticker)
I think the transmission is the 6-speed automatic (Aisin AM6 / AT6)

Hi,
Could anyone guide me how to pick the correct parts.
I am afraid to order those parts and have to deal with returns of they dont fit.

I appreciate any help.

If you do not have a Citroen/DS dealer who might help and give prices for parts, you might try contacting this company https://citroendirectparts.co.uk/

I do not want to pay dealer rates.
I buy parts in autodoc and other online discount shops.
And I heard this was one of the most supportive forums around to exchange this kind of information, so I had the hope to get the suspension exploded view with parts number of my specific model.

I mentioned citroendirectparts as recently somebody on here asked for prices for some parts and they sent the diagrams with the price which was then used to find them elsewhere.

I have also seen a Russian site that has parts diagrams so you might be able to find that site.

I understand that you may not have access to the information I am asking for, or that my question may not have been clear enough to you.

However, directing me to dealers and vaguely to “a Russian website” does not answer it. I am not asking where to buy parts, nor am I asking for prices. I am asking for the original PSA references or Service Box exploded diagrams for my specific vehicle configuration, so I can identify the correct parts before ordering them elsewhere.

I joined this forum expecting technical discussion and practical help from people familiar with these cars. If nobody has access to the diagrams or part numbers, that is absolutely fine, but a reply that does not engage with the actual question is not useful.

I may have initially read the tone negatively, I misunderstood your intended message. —thanks for clarifying.
I appreciate your recommendations.
I have found a site that provides the diagrams. I will try to go by that one and place the orders.

Thanks.
