I just bought my Xantia 1.9TD 1996 model 3 months ago. After having burnt my engine going uphill, I've had the top overhauled. Now I noticed whenever I decelerate with the gear engaged, the car will become jerky, especially at slow speeds. Acceleration is quite smooth as before. I haven't really noticed it before the top overhaul. I guess that contributed to the problem. Any advice on what to check and to suggest to the mechanic how to overcome this problem. I've had the cracked engine mounting changed but it still happens, although I feel it slightly less. Appreciate your advice.
